The Sunday Indian The Nation’s Greatest News Weekly magazine published by Planman Media & IIPM ranked as Number 1 B-School in Global Exposure, is organizing The Sunday Indian IIPM Regional Excellence Awards 2008, a night of achievement and celebration to honour the regional players in Kolkata. The evening will be held on 23rd December at the Park Kolkata.

Regional Excellence Awards is an initiative taken by Planman Media to recognize and applaud the performers who have trodden the paths of success and have contributed to the region and the nation in their own unique ways. This is the first time in the country that any media house conducting a series of Regional Awards that will be held in 15 state capitals to recognize the work of entrepreneurs and policy makers who are working hard to make the country grow in every aspect. The first of the series is for eastern region held in Kolkata.

The objective of the awards is to praise the best practices in the corporate and political arena and felicitate the performers who have stead high and carved a niche for themselves in their respective fields.

The Sunday Indian IIPM Regional Excellence Awards 2008 will be attended by various eminent and distinguished personalities, Dr. R.P. The nominations for the Regional Excellence awards are tracked down after an extensive research and analysis of the accomplishments of the corporate and political India. The research and analysis is conducted by ICMR (Indian Council for Marketing & Research) and IIPM Think Tank.
