Slumdog Millionaire hits success yet again, this time the cast and crew take home 8 Oscars! On this memorable occasion, ZoOm India’s hottest destination for Bollywood content has dedicated a special show, ‘The Slumdog Celebrations’ this Sunday, March 01 at 11am with repeat telecasts at 8pm & 9.30pm and on Wednesday March 04 at 2.30pm.

Showcasing excitement and celebration, ‘The Slumdog Celebrations’ on ZoOm Isko Dekho special will feature a mix of exclusive clips of the stars at the red carpet, exclusive interviews with the cast and crew, never seen before reactions and comments from the entertainment fraternity – all at ZoOm BIGNite Slumdog Millionaire premiere. There’s also the making of the movie, behind the scenes, memorable moments of the star cast at the Oscars, interview of stars Anil Kapoor and Freida Pinto and loads more.

Earlier on, ZoOm had bagged the exclusive coverage rights of the premiere of Slumdog Millionaire and got an exclusive access for a one-on-one with the main star cast like Anil Kapoor and Freida Pinto among others. In addition, other specials episode around the movie were featured right from updates on the happening behind the scenes, controversies, gossip around the stars, reactions from the bigwigs in Bollywood on Slumdog Millionaire, the red carpet all on ZoOm shows like Page 3 Xtreme, Planet Bollywood etc. And that’s not all, ZoOm was among the first to air the making of the movie.

Slumdog Millionaire is a story based on the life of a destitute Indian teenager Jamal Malik, who is a contestant of the Hindi version of the game show, "Who wants to be A Millionaire?” Though he wins, he is suspected of cheating. Highly acclaimed worldwide and now an award winning movie at the international level, the film won 8 Oscars and 4 Golden Globe awards including the Best Film and the Best Original score by A. R. Rahman and Gulzaar. Bollywood Star, Anil Kapoor has also earned great reviews from critics around the world for his part in the film.
