The massive surge in viewership of TIMES NOW came on a day when it provided the longest non stop broadcast of voting related news. For this election, TIMES NOW has drawn the widest panel of political experts, with stalwarts like Mahesh Ranagrajan, Dileep Padgaonkar, Vinod Mehta, Swapan Dasgupta, Swaminathan Aiyer, Nalini Singh, Navika Kumar and Paranjoy Guha Thakurta joining Arnab Goswami in the last leg of the campaign.
The channel has also stood out by deciding not to conduct an exit or opinion poll in the course of the election analysis, focusing instead on a mix of news and debate. The channel’s programming, which is branded Decision 09, will leapfrog into “total live” mode after May 1st, as the results draw closer.
