Season four treads on the emotional dilemmas and ambitions of these highly proficient and intelligent doctors. The fourth season kicks off with the interns now becoming resident doctors giving way to a pack of fresh new interns entering the hospital to up the entertainment quotient.
Having completed their internships, Meredith(Ellen Pompoe), Cristina(Sandra Oh), Izzie(Katherine Heigl) and Alex(Justine Chambers) now begin their first year as residents and are assigned a new group of interns, including Meredith’s half-sister Lexie (Chyler Leigh).
