Dexter has gripped audiences worldwide and now premieres in India. Viewers are in for a grisly spell as the story of the "serial killer with a good agenda" unfolds.

STAR World brings in the perfect late prime-time weekday watch, starting 7th March, every Monday-Friday at 10 p.m. This Emmy and Golden Globe winning show centers around Dexter Morgan, played by Michael C. Hall, who is a forensic blood-splatter analyst for the Miami police department, by day. By night, Dexter moonlights (literally) as a serial killer. The show is a fantastic, fascinating, creepy, charming and gruesome series. Dexter balances an everyday life with his secret identity, all the while keeping up a façade of normality. This series defies all moral codes and ethics, and is famous for inducing empathy among viewers for the morbidly wicked character of Dexter Morgan.

What sets this serial killer apart from others is that Dexter only kills other killers. The show grips you with Dexter butchering murderers, rapists and other horrendous criminals. Even as he commits the crimes that leave you shocked, the thought that occurs in your mind is "maybe they deserved it!!" But is it right? Is Dexter a bad guy or a good guy? And can he transform from one to the other even as he goes on dispensing his gruesome brand of justice?

The show also stars Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, Lauren Vélez, David Zayas, and James Remar.

Along with its revamped Drama & Crime programming in the 9pm and 10pm slots, the international favorite DEXTER is part of STAR World's Fully-Loaded March line-up, that includes four other brand new shows including Mr. Sunshine, Raising Hope, Las Vegas & Community. These shows will be showcased during prime-time on STAR World starting 7th March'11 onwards.
