Two creative professionals from Contract have joined Euro RSCG as associate creative directors. The agency seems to be following the mantra of hiring fresh and young talent
Two young creative professionals from Contract have joined Euro RSCG, Delhi as associate creative directors. Kamal Bhatnagar and Navjyoti Pegu (known as Oyio in the industry) have been working together as team for almost two years now. Just before moving to Euro RSCG, they were functioning as group head level creatives at Contract Delhi.
At Contract, the duo has worked on brands such as British High Commission (BHC), and launched NIIT Imperial and Fortis Healthworld. For BHC, they created a campaign which talks about the UK as a destination.
Says Bhatnagar, “Both of us have been together as a team. This is my first time at Euro RSCG but for Oyio, this is a second stint. At this point of time, both of us are looking for growth. Moreover, Euro has some very good brands in its kitty.”

Adds Bhatnagar, “Our effort will be to make Euro RSCG and our work more visible. More importantly, the idea is to provide solutions to the client that help them grow.”
Bhatnagar stepped into the advertising industry straight after completing his course at Indian Institute of Mass Communication, IIMC. He joined Contract as a trainee. After spending a few months at Contract, he joined Grey Worldwide, where he had a considerably shorter stint. Soon, he joined Ogilvy and spent two years at the agency. He joined Contract again in late 2005.
Oyio, on the other hand, stepped into advertising in 2002. He joined Leo Burnett as a trainee, and in five years has risen to the level of associate creative director. After spending a year at Leo Burnett, he joined Euro RSCG as a writer and gradually rose to senior copywriter. His next destination was Ambience Publicis, which he joined in the beginning of 2005. Contract happened in late 2005, and this is where he met Bhatnagar.
Says Satbir Singh, chief creative officer, Euro RSCG, India, “The basic idea behind bringing in young talent is simple. We want every bright young person in town to work with us. We are in the business of fresh ideas. These two have a good track record and I believe they will contribute to changing the face of the agency.”
In the near future, there will be more appointments in the creative department across all levels.
