Chohan moves in from BBDO, Mumbai.
TBWA India has brought on board Meenakshi Chohan as vice-president, account management for its Mumbai operations. Earlier, Chohan was business head, BBDO Mumbai.
At TBWA, Chohan replaces Gayatri Gogate, who recently left the agency to join McDonald's. Chohan will report to Nirmalya Sen, managing director, TBWA India and Shiv Sethuraman, chief executive officer, TBWA India.
After obtaining a Masters degree in economics, Chohan joined Reed, a communications agency in London. Subsequently, in a career spanning 10 years, she has had stints at JWT and Leo Burnett, Mumbai. She has worked on some high profile brands such as Hindustan Unilever, Godrej, Procter & Gamble, Britannia, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer and Tiger Beer.

Sen says, "What struck us about Chohan is her restlessness to go beyond conventional thinking and her belief in designing interesting conversations with consumers beyond the conventional 30 second format." He adds that her mandate now will be to lead a strong pool of brand management talent in Mumbai.
Anand Narayan, who came on board as vice-president, account management some months ago, will continue to head the other half of TBWA Mumbai's business with brands such as Nissan, Loop Mobile, Angel Broking, IDFC Mutual Funds and BagZone.
