Saatchi & Saatchi Health to handle three Birla Wellness brands

The agency will handle Rebirth, Evolve Medspa and Birla Kerala Vaidyashala. Previously, Network Advertising was handling the creative duties for these brands.

Saatchi & Saatchi Health, part of the Publicis Healthcare Communications Group (PHCG), has won three brands under the Birla Wellness umbrella. Specifically, the agency will handle Rebirth, Evolve Medspa and Birla Kerala Vaidyashala (BKV).

Part of Birla Research and Lifesciences (BRLS), Rebirth is a combination of a spa and a store selling 100 per cent natural skin, hair and nutrition products. For this part of the account, the assignment for the winning agency includes handling the various product sub-brands under the umbrella of Rebirth, such as Chant and Nutrinext.

Evolve Medspa -- part of Birla Pacific Medspa, a joint venture of the Yash Birla Group and Pacific Healthcare -- specialises in cosmetic dermatology, cosmetic and plastic surgery, general and specialist dentistry and Maxillofacial prosthetics.

Lastly, Birla Kerala Vaidyashala, an Ayurveda therapy chain across Mumbai and South India, specialises in treating various lifestyle and chronic health disorders.

The development is the result of a multi-agency pitch process that took place in Mumbai. The agency's Mumbai office will handle the business.

The mandate for these brands has moved from Network Advertising.

Venkat adds that his team has been closely monitoring the rapidly growing trend of health consciousness and a shift towards natural products and treatments for the past few years.

The Birla Wellness Group is a part of the Yash Birla Group which is an INR 30 Billion conglomerate of over 20 diversified companies, ranging from established sectors such as auto and engineering, textiles and chemicals, and power and electrical to emerging sectors such as wellness, lifestyle, education and IT. Currently, the group has 10 listed entities in India.
