Thomas Xavier quits Orchard Advertising

The NCD and founding member of the Leo Burnett sister concern decides to move on after 16 years.

Thomas Xavier, founder-member of Orchard Advertising has put in his papers. It has been confirmed that his last day at the Leo Burnett group agency would be December 31, 2014.

Xavier was serving as national creative director and chairman for the Leo Burnett's sister concern. Having worked in the Leo Burnett group for 16 years, Xavier now plans to drive a new concept in business creativity.

A graduate of IIM Bangalore, Xavier entered advertising with his stint at Mudra. He quickly followed it up with McCann, before joining Leo Burnett and setting up Orchard in 1999.

Thomas Xavier has been in the industry for 22 years and has worked on brands like Toyota Qualis, Top Ramen, the Effie-winning regional work on Coca-Cola, the 'Gale Mein Awaaz' campaign for Himalaya Throat Drops, and Air Deccan.

Xavier has also been heading 'Transformers' where he mentors young fast-trackers who see themselves as CEOs in the near future.
