Grey Singapore won an Innovation Lion for its India-based campaign called Life Saving Dot (Jeevan Bindi) for Talwar Bindi (in association with Neelvasant Medical Foundation and Research Centre). HFILMS Milan is the production company.

Millions of women in rural India suffer from diseases that stem from a basic deficiency of iodine in their diet. According to the brand, every woman requires 150-220 micrograms of iodine every day. The foundation devised bindis that dispense this quantity of iodine to the wearer, through the day. Through health camps and clinics, these fortified bindis were distributed to women across rural India. How does the bindi work? - The iodine literally seeps from the bindi, through the skin on their forehead into their bodies.

For the record, India didn't manage to convert its shortlists in the Film and Branded Content & Entertainment categories into Lions, over the weekend.
