Looks like withdrawing the anti-reservation spot that led to a furore online, hasn't dampened the spirit of Havells India. The brand has brought back the 'Main Pankha Hu' (I am a fan) campaign to take on corruption, black money, rogue politicians, and employment biases. Like the previous ad, which was withdrawn within a week of its release, this one, too, depicts the emergence of an independent, honest, and confident young India.

The 52-second ad talks of various socio-economic and political malpractices in the country through three scenarios, each represented by a different type of 'pankha'. Beginning with a 'Safed (white) pankha' which understands the importance of 'white' or financial transparency, the film shows a young builder who refuses to accept cash payment from his client.

Next, it extols the 'uncha (tall), yet grounded pankha', which is represented by a young politician who is seen ordering his followers to take down an illegal hoarding put up to commemorate his birthday.

The last part of the ad shows a blind girl who drops in for a walk-in interview for a newsreader's position. Accosted with the question 'What are you doing here?' on her way to the desk, she replies, "Main Pankha Hu".
