In 2011, Shah was appointed as senior creative director and took on the creative responsibilities of the agency's Bengaluru branch.

Commenting on the appointment, Arnab Mitra, managing director, LIQVD ASIA, says, "I am delighted to welcome (Dharmesh) Shah on board. Shah has an exceptional and widespread understanding of the creative process and has a genuine yearning to take on larger responsibilities and challenges. He is just the kind of talent that will take LIQVD ASIA's creative product to the next level."

Talking about his appointment, Shah says, "I am ecstatic to join LIQVD ASIA and be part of a team that is so passionate about everything digital. I look forward to create some stimulating work for our clients."

Commenting on his move from traditional to digital, he says, "It's been a natural one for me. Brands, too, are now prioritising their ad spends as they realise the immense potential of digital communications and the value it adds to their marketing plans. It is a shift from creating content that is centred upon the product/brand to create good content that has the brand as the backdrop."

During his 15-year-long career, Shah has worked for several brands such as ITC Foods (all brands under Sunfeast) and its confectionery business, Paragon, Levi's, Amul, Tata Indicom, Tata Motors, Tata Consultancy Services, Zee, Tata Chemicals, Nerolac Paints, LIC, and ICICI Bank, and the entire portfolio of brands under Wipro Consumer Goods.

LIQVD ASIA began its operations in January 2013 and has registered offices in Mumbai, Gurgaon, and Singapore. Its clientele includes Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Indiabulls Housing Finance, Celkon Mobiles, Glanbia, GMAC, Legrand, OCBC, and Sennheiser.
