Brands display sportsmanship; console India after World Cup loss

In response to the heartbreaking loss at the ICC World Cup 2023 final, brands like Swiggy, Netflix, Myntra and more extended their support to Team India.

In the ultimate showdown of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup on Sunday, the battlefield was set, and the stakes were nothing short of monumental. The Men in Blue found themselves in a fierce struggle against the Aussies for the World Cup trophy. 

Despite team India's extraordinary journey throughout the tournament, destiny took an unexpected turn, and victory eluded India in the final match.

From the start of the match, the intensity of the match was high and brands rallied behind Team India from the very onset. Zomato changed its logo to blue to showcase its support.  

The food aggregator brand also put out a print ad where it asserted that patriotism trumps brand guidelines.

Wakefit extended a helping hand to cricket aficionados grappling with the surge in hotel prices. The brand offered a for the night at its outlets, ensuring that the passion for the game was not dampened.
