The brand has also appointed UK-based High Performance (HP) to handle its digital duties.
Recently launched premium online fashion portal Rock.in has appointed integrated agency Digital Driftwood (DDW) to handle its creative duties. DDW is a nine year old company with presence in Mumbai and Delhi.
The development comes on the back of a multi-agency pitch. The brand team had initiated the process in February.
Addressing the account win, Vikram Varma, director, DDW, says, "With emphasis on premium international brands and high quality products instead of the usual discounts and offers, Rock.in has an edge in the crowded e-commerce space. We look forward to work alongside it to achieve its marketing goals."
Rock.in will utilise a combination of various media channels for its upcoming communication.
Suraj Sharma, chief executive officer, Rock.in, says, "We have a very clear idea of our target group - he/she has a discerning taste, aspires to be more of a 'world citizen' than just an Indian citizen, is doing well in his/her personal life and wants to embrace all the good things in life."
As of now, all media planning and buying will be done by an in-house team.
Further, after evaluating several digital agencies in India, Rock.in has appointed UK-based High Performance (HP) to handle its digital duties. The agency will look into SEO (search engine optimisation) and SEM (search engine marketing) for the brand, including PPC (pay-per click) and GDN (Google Display Network).
Promoted by Suraj Sharma and Aashish Puri, Rock.in was launched on May 21. The site houses international fashion labels from countries such as France, UK, Italy, Germany and the US. Some of the brands being offered include La Redoute, Hawes and Curtis, Monkee Genes, House of Dereon and Boggi, among others.
