In Week 38, Radio Mirchi continues to lead in the three RAM markets of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, while Big FM rules Bengaluru
The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 38 for the four RAM markets is out. As has been the case for the last few weeks, this week, too, Radio Mirchi leads in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, while Big FM leads in Bengaluru.
Mumbai
This week, Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 18.7 per cent, registering a loss of 0.1 percentage points in comparison to Week 37.

Following Radio Mirchi are Red FM and AIR FM, placed second and third respectively. Red FM has garnered a market share of 14.3 per cent. AIR FM has a market share of 12 per cent, registering a loss of 1.7 percentage points over Week 37.
This time, three radio stations – Big FM, Fever FM and Radio City – have garnered identical market shares of 11.9 per cent each. These three radio stations are followed by Radio One, which has a market share of 6.9 per cent.
Next in line is AIR FM Rainbow with a market share of 5.6 per cent, registering a gain of 0.6 percentage points.
Amongst the other stations in Mumbai, Vividh Bharati and Akashvani Mumbai have market shares of 2.4 per cent each, followed by Meow FM (2.1 per cent).
Delhi
As has been the case for the past few weeks, this week, too, Radio Mirchi leads in the city. It has a market share of 23.1 per cent, with a loss of 0.4 percentage points.
Fever FM and AIR FM occupy the second and third places in the city. Fever FM has garnered a market share of 19.6 per cent, registering a loss of 2.3 percentage points. AIR FM has a market share of 17.7 per cent, registering a gain 1.3 percentage points.
Red FM continues to occupy the fourth position with a market share of 10 per cent, with a gain of 1.7 percentage points. This week, Big FM has moved up to occupy the fifth spot with a market share of 7.3 per cent, registering a gain of 0.8 percentage points.
Radio City has slipped a point to occupy the sixth spot with a market share of 6.6 per cent, registering a loss of 1.1 percentage points.
With a market share of 6.5 per cent, Radio One is placed seventh in Delhi, registering a loss of 0.5 percentage points. It is followed by Meow FM in the eighth spot with a market share of 2.8 per cent.
Among the other stations in Delhi, Hit FM has a market share of 2.7 per cent, followed by AIR FM Rainbow (1.9 per cent); Vividh Bharati (1.5 per cent); and Akashvani (0.1 per cent).
Bengaluru
Big FM continues to lead in Bengaluru. It is followed by Radio Mirchi and Fever FM in the second and third spots.
Big FM leads with a market share of 20.3 per cent, registering a gain of 2 percentage points in comparison to Week 37.
Radio Mirchi is second with a market share of 17.6 per cent, registering a gain of 0.9 percentage points. Fever FM occupies the third spot with a market share of 16.1 per cent, registering a loss of 0.3 percentage points.
Radio City and AIR FM are the fourth and fifth players in the city. Radio City has a market share of 11.2 per cent and AIR FM, with a loss of 1.4 percentage points, has managed a market share of 10.2 per cent.
Radio One occupies the sixth spot in the city with a market share of 8.7 per cent. It is followed by Red FM in the seventh spot. The radio station has garnered a market share of 7.9 per cent.
Vivid Bharati occupies the eighth spot with a market share of 4.6 per cent, registering a gain of 0.3 percentage points.
In Week 38 in Bengaluru, amongst others, Radio Indigo has 2.3 per cent market share, followed by Gyan Vani (0.6 per cent) and Akashvani (0.5 per cent each).
Kolkata
The city is being ruled by Radio Mirchi, Big FM and Friends FM as the No.1, No.2 and No.3 players respectively.
Radio Mirchi has a market share of 19.4 per cent with a gain of 0.2 percentage points. Big FM is placed second with a market share of 16.7 per cent, registering a loss of 1 percentage point.
Friends FM is placed third with a market share of 13.9 per cent, registering a loss of 0.1 percentage points.
In Week 38, Aamar FM occupies the fourth place in the city with a market share of 10.4 per cent, registering a gain of 0.7 percentage points.
Red FM continues to occupy the fifth spot with a market share of 7.9 per cent. It is followed by Fever FM in the sixth position with a market share of 7 per cent.
Next in line are Meow FM and Radio One with market shares of 6.5 and 5.9 per cent respectively.
In Week 38, among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 4 per cent, followed by AIR FM Gold (3.4 per cent); Akashvani (2.7 per cent); Power FM (1.4 per cent); and Vividh Bharati (0.9 per cent).
