As per BARC, the second airing of Hindi feature film 'PK' was one of the most watched programmes in the genre.
Star Plus continued to lead the Hindi GEC genre with 389322 GVTs, as compared to 406084 GVTs in week 26, as per BARC (HSM : NCCS All : Week 26 : Individuals : C&S 1Lac+).

It was followed by Colors that closed the week with 357872 GVTs (last week 340709) and Zee TV that concluded the week with 284778 GVTs (last week 254699).
Life OK garnered 232726 GVTs, as opposed to 245804 GVTs in last week.
Sony Entertainment Television clocked 204392 GVTs in the week that ended on July 3, down from previous week's 236328 GVTs.
As for the shows, Star Plus' 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' was the most watched show in the genre with 6582 TVTs. It was followed by Colors' 'Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi' that garnered 6059 TVTs. The second airing of the Aamir Khan-starrer 'PK' clocked 5596 TVTs on Sony.
Next on the list is Colors's 'Sasural Simar Ka' that recorded 5272 TVTs, while Zee TV's 'Kumkum Bhagya' was the fifth most watched show with 5153 TVTs.
TAM Trends
Sony Entertainment Television and SAB TV shared the fourth position in the Hindi GEC hierarchy, as per TAM (C&S, 4+, HSM). Both the channels grossed 140 GRPs each in week 27. Sony and SAB TV had clocked 166 GRPs and 135 GRPs in the last week.
Star Plus was the most watched channel in the TAM universe too, with 232 GRPs, down from 248 GRPs in the last week.
Colors held on to the second spot with 206 GRPs, as opposed to 205 GRPs in the previous week. Zee TV came in next with 174 GRPs (last week 161 GRPs).
Life OK and &TV closed the week with 130 GRPs (last week 125 GRPs) and 69 GRPs (last week 66 GRPs), respectively.
As for the shows, Colors' 'Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi' was the most watched show in the week with 4.25 TVR. PK's second run garnered 4.16 TVR.
Star Plus' 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' clocked 3.7 TVR, followed by Zee TV's 'Kumkum Bhagya' that registered 3.69 TVR. SAB's 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma' was next with 3.49 TVR.
Star Plus' 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and 'Saathiya Saath Nibhana' followed with 3.42 and 3.39 TVRs respectively. Zee TV's 'Dance India Dance' occupied the eighth spot with 2.9 TVR.
The last two shows in the top ten include 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' (2.87 TVR) and 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' (2.69 TVR).
