Preeti Verma of Rediffusion DY&R who was the only Indian to qualify for the International Clio Future Gold Contest, has won the contest. Preeti with her copy partner had competed with the other 5 art-copy teams at the annual international event ‘Clio Festival’, held from May 9-12 at Miami.
Preeti has been with Rediffusion for the past one and a half years and is one of the bright young talents that the agency boasts of. In fact, she is one of the young stars who walked away with a Silver and Bronze award at the Goafest 2007.
Reacting to this news, Mahesh Chauhan, President of RDYR says, ‘Rediffusion has always believed that young talent brings a freshness and vibrancy to our thinking. Experience of an agency must always be partnered with fresh blood to keep advertising alive and in touch with times.’
Incidentally, Preeti had also been sent to Cannes last year after winning the Young Creative contest at the AAAI 2006.
