Infosys Named a Leader in Global IT Infrastructure Outsourcing

Infosys Technologies Limited (NASDAQ: INFY), a world leader in consulting and information technology services, has been recognized as among the leaders in global information technology infrastructure outsourcing by a report issued by independent analyst firm Forrester Research.

“Infosys’ strategy based on enabling customers to transform and optimize their infrastructure, combined with a broad global footprint ensures that clients receive a comprehensive suite of flexible and predictable services and high service quality,” said Priti Rao, senior vice president and head of Infrastructure Management Services (IMS), Infosys. “We’re delighted to be named a leader in the Forrester report and that our clients have given us perfect reference scores. This is a reflection of the strength of our benchmarked IT infrastructure outsourcing approach driven by our focus on IT service management”

The Forrester report, entitled The Forrester Wave: Global IT Infrastructure Outsourcing, Q2 2007 (June 2007), points to Infosys’ position as a leader in the industry, stating: “Perfect reference client scores and a solid strategy for future infrastructure business helped land India-based Infosys in the Leaders band.”

Infosys was also identified as being “among the strongest offshore providers in applications outsourcing” in The Forrester Wave™: North American Applications Outsourcing, Q1 2007 (March 2007). According to that report, the company “has a strong capability across virtually every aspect of AO.”
