K Mukund appointed Chief Operating Officer at Odyssey - one of India’s fast growing leisure store chains that stocks a wide collection of Books, Music, Cards, Stationery, Gifts, Toys, Multimedia, and Magazines.

K Mukund, 40, has over 14 years of pan India professional experience in Sales and Marketing with leading FMCG brands like Coca Cola, Wrigley’s, Brylcreem, Scotch Brite, Kiwi, Henko and Fa.

A Post graduate in Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar; Mukund’s last assignment was with Coca Cola as General Sales Manager in Chennai. Prior to that he was working as a Regional Sales Manager handling South & East regions at Pennzoil brand of automotive lubricants, which is a Royal Dutch Shell Group Company.

He has a successful track record of growing the brands he has handled and brings with him over 14 years of expertise in streamlining operations, driving distribution efficiencies and delivering value to the customer.

Mukund has interests in books, music and art.

Speaking on the appointment of Mr. Mukund, Mr. T S Ashwin, Managing Director, Odyssey said, “Mukund brings with him tremendous knowledge and understanding of brands and its operations after his successful stints with multinational brands. He would be responsible for business deliverables from retail operations, sales & marketing & supply chain management.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Mukund said, “My immediate job on hand is to drive efficiencies in operations, logistics, and marketing.
