Maxtor launches Over Drive Dhamaka

Maxtor Corporation (NYSE: MXO) a worldwide leader in hard disk drives, today announced a reseller program Maxtor Over Drive Dhamaka in India. The program, starting from November 1 to December 31, 2003, aims at providing an impetus to the hard disk drives sales during the festival season.

Program Mechanism:

Under the scheme, every purchase of 20 units of Maxtor hard disk drives (any capacity and model), a reseller will receive a scratch card with prizes ranging from gift vouchers, watches, sunglasses, cameras, CD players and microwave oven. Every scratch card will come with a prize. The prize can be redeemed at Maxtors marketing agency, Channel Strategies branches, across the Country. Apart from this, there will be a Top Performance Award (prize of Rs 20,000 gift voucher) to be given to the top reseller with highest purchase from Maxtors three authorized Indian distributors, namely Cyberstar Infocom Limited, eSys Distribution Limited and Ingram Micro India Private Limited during the promotion period. Announcement on the Top Performance Award winner will be made on January 25, 2004.
