Wipro Infotech, the India, Middle East and Asia Pacific IT Business segment of Wipro Ltd, and Egenera, the data center virtualization company, today announced that they have entered into a distribution agreement. Egenera has pioneered a new computing architecture – the patented Processing Area Network (PAN) – specifically designed to reduce data center complexity, resulting in agility, availability and cost-effectiveness. Under the terms of the agreement, Wipro Infotech will resell the full suite of Egenera® products and emerging IT sales opportunities for the company within India. The key focus of the Wipro division is to optimize and enhance existing IT infrastructure by delivering unique and innovative technology products.
