Yahoo! India Ties up with Oasis Cellular

Rajasthan's largest mobile service operator announces it tie up with Yahoo! India, the leading internet communications and media company, to offer state-of-the-art "Yahoo! for SMS" mobile applications to all its subscribers in the region. The tie up was announced through a joint press conference held by Mr. Navaid Khan, CEO Hexacom India Limited and Mr. Neville Taraporewala, Director - Sales and Business development, Yahoo! India.

Yahoo! India offers Yahoo! Messenger, Group SMS, Mail, Logos, Ring tones, Cricket, Astrology, Photo SMS, Jokes, Blink and Flash SMS, World Timings and wide range of services for SMS to mobile users in the country. Many of these services will enable the users to have greater utility of their cellular phones and can customize the looks and tones.

Services offered by Yahoo for Oasis Cellular customers are:

· Ring tones

The users can break free from the regular ring tones the mobile phones have. They can download latest songs on their mobile phones and can make their phones sing. How it works --Go to write message

-Type 'tune' and the keyword for a particular song. E.g. tune 301

-Send it to 8243.

-The user will receive the desired rig tone and can save that as a ring tone on his mobile.

· Picture Messages

These services change the look of the mobile phones. Using Yahoo picture messaging the user can download various pictures and set as screen savers on his mobile. He can also send the pictures to his friends or other users.

- Type 'pic' and the keyword of the desired picture. E.g. pic 130

- The user will get the desired picture on his mobile

· Operator Logos

You do not need to have a PC to have wallpapers. Oasis SMS makes it all possible for you. With Yahoo operator logo service the user can download interesting logos using a particular keyword for the service. The same can be saved as wallpaper on his mobile phone.

· Jokes

The users can download jokes and forward to their friends. Just type 'joke' and send it to 8243. You can also download jokes about a particular subject for e.g. if you want a joke about politics type 'joke pol' and send it to 8243.

· Update on Cricket score & stocks

Get latest update on cricket, stocks and even know the world time in any country. Just type the keyword for the desired service and you will receive instant information.

· Dating

Dating is another exciting service hat would mainly attract the youngsters. Don't wait for sparing time to go on a date. Now you can date on your mobile no matter wherever you are and whatever you are doing. For this service the user has to register on yahoo dating through Oasis SMS and get going.
