Pepsi introduces Slice in PET pack

The joy of relishing mango this summer is going to be more convenient, thanks to Slice. As part of its continuing efforts to introduce innovative packaging, Pepsi today launched Slice - its popular mango juice drink brand - in international standard PET pack for the first time in the country.

The 500-ml PET Slice, priced at Rs 18, is being introduced in Pune, Nasik, Aurangabad and Sholapur. The new pack will be gradually extended to other markets across the country.

According to Shashi Kalathil, Executive Director (Marketing), Pepsi Foods Pvt. Ltd., "Slice has established itself as the favorite Mango juice drink in the country, gaining immense popularity amongst the young. Maharashtra is a key juice-consuming market and the new contemporary and convenient 500ml PET pack allows the consumer to enjoy a chilled Slice on-the-go or take it home to share it with the family."

The 500-ml PET pack is being launched with a new tagline "Go Man-Go", which is being communicated to consumers through eye-catching point-of-sale merchandise and outdoor signage.

The 500-ml PET international standard packaging and innovative design is slated to provide improved value and convenience for the consumer. The "hot-filling" of Slice and the crystallised bottle-neck also ensures higher shelf life for the product.
