Pugmarks appoints former Head of Marketing of Zee's DTH Business as CEO

Pugmarks InterWeb Pvt. Ltd. - largest Web Hosting and Internet solutions Company in the country today announced the appointment of Mr. Dilip Venkatraman as Chief Executive Officer. Venkatraman joins Pugmarks from Zee where he was the Head of Brand Management of Zee News responsible for repackaging and repositioning Zee News with "Haqeeqat Jaisi, Khabar Waisi", subsequent to this he was elevated to the DTH business of Zee.

His appointment underlines Pugmarks' focus and commitment to India as a leading player backed by a strong management team and dedicated professionals. Pugmarks offers sophisticated Internet solutions like interactive web portals, content management solutions, managed web hosting, co-location of applications, database & email servers in stand-alone or multi-tiered or clustered architecture.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. K.S. Venkatraman brings to Pugmarks over a decade of experience wherein his key projects include creating 2424 SMS platform for the India Today Group in 2002, synergistic co-branded events/programmes with Hindustan Times, Hindustan, Mid Day, Outlook, Dainik Jagran, etc. At Zee, he was responsible for Zee News Wireless GSM LED Tickers. I need to grow the business and deliver the bottomline," concludes Venkatraman. Expressing his "fascination for technology" Venkatraman explains why he left Zee and join Pugmarks with new hopes and aspirations.
