The exquisite architectural concept of Banyan Tree Corniche Bay is being launched in India by the boutique real estate company Aylesford International from London.

Banyan Tree Corniche Bay is a new Foster + Partners designed residential development situated on the south-west coast of Mauritius. Foster + Partners is headed up by eminent architect, Lord Foster who has received much acclaim for his projects around the world over the last 40 years. His striking architecture in this project creates the ‘future of island living’ by combining indigenous materials with state -of -the art design and technology – culminating in iconic property with sumptuous tropical luxury.

The development itself comprises 115 villas, a Banyan Tree hotel and spa and is complemented by a Gary Player golf course. Privacy for the villas is paramount and to that end, they are each surrounded by an acre of landscaped gardens and hidden by lush tropical vegetation - all against the backdrop of Le Morne Brabant Mountain which is nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There are four main types of villa, all with the ‘curved’ signature roofs which create a striking design. All villas are located within freehold plots ranging from 0.8 – 1.25 acres. Prices start at €2,975,000 and go up to €5,975,000.

Aylesford International is bringing the project to India first given the obvious synergies between the two countries. The growing wealth and affluence has demonstrated that the Indian market is a key territory for those selling international property at the most exclusive locations.

Commenting on its entry into the Indian market, Andrew Langton, Chairman of Aylesford International said, “India has massive potential and is a rapidly developing economy. More and more Indians are traveling abroad and want to buy property outside of their country. Another factor to note is that the majority of these buyers are high profile, HNIs, who prefer to purchase property not just for investment but also for leisure. Luxurious villas, penthouses, petit palaces are being sold to these individuals. Clients are certainly not shying away from spending and we have already started getting a good response from our Indian customers.”
