Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF), a premier industry oriented design institute in India has introduced a new course for the Undergraduates in Fashion Styling & Image Designing (FSID) for the first time in India. The three-year full time higher diploma course will commence from July 2008-2009.

FSID will be a six-semester course and is exclusively designed and globally benchmarked to train students in advanced, comprehensive managerial skills and techniques required for the Fashion Styling. The Course emphasizes on intensive theoretical and applied training in core areas of creating, characterizing, directing, styling and promoting the desired image of personalities,businesses and experiences that are fast emerging niche expertise as Fashion Styling & Image Design.

The Entrance Test for the programme will be conducted only in PAF, Delhi centre on 5th Jnly, 2008. The Entrance test will be followed by a panel interview of the candidate. The last date for submission of forms is 30th June 2008.

FSID is aimed at building the context of the profession and begins to introduce and synthesize different streams of potential practice as well as the larger understanding of media and contemporary nuances of styling and image. Students begin to undertake specific projects and begin to apply the core understanding to practice.
