Sun Microsystems and Amity join hands to provide globally renowned curriculum to students in India

Sun Microsystems India today announced that it has entered into a partnership with Amity, the largest private university in India, to offer globally renowned curriculum to provide students of Amity access to Sun technologies. The partnership will help Amity to leverage upon Sun's long-standing proven expertise on Java and Solaris technologies as well as update their existing curriculum using Sun’s extensive resource library.

As part of this partnership, Sun will set up an Authorized Sun Education Center (ASEC) at the Amity University campus in Noida. This ASEC will offer Training and certification to students across Amity. A faculty development program will be conducted on a continuing basis to empower the university faculty. Further, Sun Learning Services Official Course material will form part of the recognized and recommended textbooks for all Computer Science and IT courses at Amity.
