The road for the tyre industry might be bumpy but it sure looks smooth for Everest and Apollo. With the latest strikingly different 'Unstoppable' campaign breaking in all the leading business magazines, not only has Everest Bangalore created ripples on the roads but also has gained the account.
As of 1st January, 2003, Everest will be handling the entire Apollo corporate account. The Agency insiders say that the account has been won and will be handled by the Everest Bangalore Branch. The ad budget split between the corporate and the brands is typically an 80-20 scenario. Which means the Bangalore Branch of Everest will be cruising smoothly with around 10 crores in its kitty. The corporate business has moved from Publicis India, who still continue to handle the product business.
