Giorgio Armani has rejuvenated the latest collection of Emporio Armani women’s watches for the Autumn/Winter 2008 season. Retaining elements of classic styling, while experimenting with fashion trends, our newest fashion watches tie in closely with our ready-to-wear runway looks and the season’s must-haves. One of the most feminine and youthful collections to date, it signals a new, signature look for Emporio Armani women’s watches.

The highlight of the new collection, featured in this season’s ad campaign, is bangle AR5749. Made entirely of one solid piece of black moulded resin measuring 60mm wide, it has subtly rounded edges and features the Emporio Armani logo emblazoned across its centre in contrasting white resin. The watch head itself is made of stainless steel and is fully embedded within the bangle. Small and perfectly circular, it features a silver dial and a 2-hand analogue display. Similar and equally bold is model AR5750 which is also constructed entirely out of black resin in a slightly narrower size at 43mm wide. It features a daring and uniquely distinct Emporio Armani 4-eagle geometric logo pattern printed in white.

Model AR5738 is fun and feminine, showcasing a trendier slant. This youthfully-inspired watch is defined by its shape - a playfully wavy bracelet that is fluid and graceful. Entirely made of stainless steel, it features open links that are set widely apart. Branded markings appear in the form of two crystal-encrusted Emporio Armani eagles framed within the opening of the links. This model is also available in yellow gold-plated stainless steel with a white mother-of-pearl dial (model AR5739) or in stainless steel with a white mother-of-pearl dial and without crystal embellishments (model AR5737).

Cool, sleek and made of yellow gold-plated stainless steel, model AR5741 measures 19mm in width and features the outline of two Emporio Armani eagle logo elements cleverly incorporated into the form of the bangle. The eagle outlines are covered in clear crystals and complement the crystals that dot the hour markers at 3h, 6h and 9h on the gold-coloured dial. This model is also available in stainless steel with white mother-of-pearl dial (model AR5742).

Model AR5747 is a striking watch with a refined and elegant spirit. It has a special strap composition that integrates black calf leather, embossed to resemble lizard skin, with stainless steel plates that feature a black enamel inlay of the Emporio Armani 4-eagle logo motif. Truly special and stylish, this model is also available with a grey strap and tone-on-tone stainless steel logo details (model AR5748).

Styled like a loose-fitting stainless steel link bracelet, model AR5735 features a delicate rectangular case with a sparkling pavé dial. It is also available in stainless steel with a silver dial (model AR5734) or in yellow gold-plated stainless steel with white mother-of-pearl dial (model AR5736).

Elegant, sophisticated and feminine, model AR5726 is an extension of one our more classically inspired women’s watches. It features a wide stainless case, with a grey dial and roman numeral hour markers as well as a pewter-coloured leather strap with metallic finish and an embossed pattern of the Emporio Armani 4-eagle logo motif. Similar in shape, with more squared case, model AR5727 also recalls our reputed classic styling in simple and feminine two-toned stainless steel watch. This model is also available with stainless steel case and a black patent leather strap with and an embossed pattern of the Emporio Armani 4-eagle logo motif (model AR5725).

Classic Men's Collection

Our collection of classic men’s watches epitomise the distinctly unique character of Emporio Armani, balancing nostalgic design with modern styling. This season’s featured classic men’s watch is chronograph model AR0185. It has an extra-large stainless steel tank-shaped case and features a deep chocolate-brown dial with silver-coloured roman numeral hour markers and a date function at 4h. Truly masculine, sophisticated and rich in detail, it has an equally beautiful dark-brown calf leather strap embossed to resemble crocodile skin. This model is also available with a silver dial and black strap (model AR0186) as well as in slightly smaller, non-chronograph version with a warm grey dial, pewter-coloured strap and diamond studded detailing on the case (model AR3163).

Understated, elegant and refined, model AR2419 features a finely constructed tank-shaped case in stainless steel, an amber-coloured crystal, a date function at 6 o’clock and a brown calf leather strap embossed to resemble crocodile skin. Utterly masculine with subtle design details. This model is also available with a black strap and silver dial (model AR2417) as well as well as with a very particular stainless steel bracelet and gun metal dial in both a gents’ (model AR2421) and ladies’ (model AR2422) size. Borrowing on the same design principles, model AR2411 has a round stainless steel case with black strap and dial and is also available with a brown strap and chocolate brown dial (model AR2413) as well as on a steel bracelet with cream-coloured dial (model AR2415).

Sports Watch Collection

Giorgio Armani continues to focus on the growing Emporio Armani sport watch family, ranging from styles inspired by athletics to those that can be classified as sport-vintage.

Model AR0629 is a true sportsman’s watch designed with the amateur diver in mind. The oversized round case is made of stainless steel with black IP finish and features a rotating bezel with timer-function. Water-resistant to 10 ATM and fastened with a water-safe black polyurethane strap, the black dial features a date function at 4h30 and extra-large Arabic numeral hour markers at 3h, 6h and 9h with superluminova treatment that allows them to glow in the dark. This model is also available with a stainless steel case and white strap (model AR0627) or with a stainless steel case, silver dial and sand-coloured strap (model AR0628). It is also available with a 3-link stainless steel bracelet that features a black IP top ring and crown (model AR0630).

More rugged and casual in styling, model AR5837 is a re-worked version of one of our earliest sport-vintage watches. Interpreted as a chronograph, it has an extra-large, round stainless steel case with a coin-ridged bezel, and oversized crown and chronograph pushers. The cream-coloured dial is rich in detail and features large cream-coloured hands, Arabic numeral hour markers, a date function at 3h and three black chronograph counters set horizontally across the bottom half of the dial. The brown strap is made of thick calf leather which softens with age and has large rivets details outlined by ecru-coloured contrast stitching. This model is also available with black strap and silver dial (model AR5836) as well as in a non-chronograph version on a 3-link stainless steel bracelet with silver dial (model AR5835).

Meccanico Watch Collection

Emporio Armani’s range of automatic watches is strengthened by the introduction of model AR4222. Based on the limited edition commemorative Meccanico watch launched last year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Emporio Armani watches, this new model has now been introduced in a stainless steel version with a black calf-leather strap embossed to resemble crocodile skin. The black dial has a special feature referred to as “open heart” which reveals the mechanical functioning of the watch movement, making the inner workings of the watch visible to the wearer. This model is also available with an amber coloured dial crystal and brown calf-leather strap embossed to resemble crocodile skin (model AR4223).
