Parle Agro gives Frooti a new look

Drawing inspiration from its newly introduced corporate tag line ‘Refreshing India’, Parle Agro has decided to refresh the market. Starting with its flagship brand Frooti.

Good old Frooti is appearing in a new avatar of Cool Orange Tetra Pak packages at your neighborhood departmental store.

Frooti was launched in 1985. At the time, it created soft drink history by starting a Tetra Pak revolution in the country. However, with considerable changes in market trends over the last 20 years, the need to maintain its leadership status in the market and reinforce its ‘fresh ‘n’ juicy nature, was evident. And a radical change in India’s most loved soft drink was inevitable.

“The new packages have already hit the shelf in Mumbai, Bhopal and Hyderabad and will see a phased launch in the rest of the country. And with a mega media campaign round the corner, excitement levels at Parle Agro are understandably high” says Shauna Chauhan, Director, Parle Agro.

The new Frooti packs have been designed by Yellow Resources after a comprehensive packaging exercise that involved the best packaging companies in the country.

The new pack has been well accepted by both retailers and consumers, judging the research and market feedback. While the retailer has a bright, colorful pack to display on his shelf, consumers are delighted to have a pack that is ‘cool’, vibrant and forms an extension of their persona.
