BASF’s pioneering and path-breaking initiative of introducing ‘BASF Kids’ Lab aboard Science Express’, the science exhibition on wheels has entered the Limca Book of Records. It was the first-of-its-kind attempt towards introducing today’s youth to the fascinating world of chemistry by inviting them to a hands-on lab experience, trying to inculcate interest in them at a learning stage.

“Limca Book of Records is the Indian equivalent of Guinness Book of World Records and therefore, holds a lot of merit” says, Mr. Prasad Chandran, Chairman BASF Group in India & Head South Asia. “Science Express as a project is very special for BASF. Employees all over India volunteered to make this a grand success. BASF Kids’ Lab has helped us reinforce our commitment towards the public & our customers; contributing to the development of India. Therefore, being acknowledged for these genuine efforts has really humbled us”, he added.
