Samsung launches ML-2250 Laser Printer

Global digital technology leader and the world’s second-largest laser engine manufacturer, Samsung today announced the launch of its new ML-2250 Laser Printer series in India.

The launch of the ML-2250 is in line with Samsung’s commitment to providing laser printer solutions that offer superior quality and productivity at a great price. The ML-2250 offers prints at a speed upto 22 -page-per-minute (ppm) with 1200*1200 dpi resolution and is priced is Rs.16,500. Featuring an attractive, glossy and user-friendly design, the ML-2250 printers also offer a small footprint, which is ideal for design conscious users.

“The ML-2250 laser printers are a direct result of Samsung’s extensive research and development program to ensure that the our product line up offers the most innovative and advanced printing solutions available today,” said Princy Bhatnagar, Value Business Head of Samsung India’s IT division, “The ML-2250 laser printers also provide a superior cost per page and low cost of ownership in the small business office environment.”

The ML-2250 Series offers multiple interfaces including the industry-leading USB 2.0 which is capable of transferring data 40 times faster than USB 1.1 and an IEEE 1284 parallel interface. The new printers are also network capable through a built-in Ethernet 10/100 Base TX and can be wirelessly enabled via an 802.11b wireless LAN.

With a robust 30,000-page monthly duty cycle, 166MHz processor and 16MB of standard memory (expandable to 144MB), the ML-2250 printers are equipped to handle the printing needs of small workgroups. These PCL6 compatible printers also offer PostScript3 as an option and feature up to 1,200-dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution for printing razor-sharp text and graphics.

When it comes to paper handling capacity, the ML-2250 printers offer a 250-sheet paper cassette and a 50-sheet multipurpose feeder capable of handling a variety of paper types and sizes from 3” x 5” index cards to legal documents. A second, 250-sheet cassette is optional.

Samsung’s new ML-2250 Series printers are compatible with a wide range of Windows and Linux operating systems. They are backed by Samsung’s three-years on site warranty.

Featuring high performance with the latest cost saving features, the ML-2550 model offers an ideal solution for workgroup printing needs.
