Xansa, the IT and business services company today announced the launch of the first phase of its NOIDA development centre. Spread over an area of 1.5 acres the facility will have the potential to house 1000 employees.
Shri Rajeeva Ratana Shah, Secretary, Department of Information and Technology inaugurated the second office of Xansa in Noida in the presence of Mr. Kiran Karnik, President, Nasscom along with Mr Alistair Cox, CEO, Xansa Plc and Saurabh Srivastava, Executive Chairman, Xansa, India and Director, Xansa Plc.
Mr Alistair Cox, Chief Executive, Xansa plc said, "India is a very important resource hub and offers immense opportunities for Xansa to expand internationally by leveraging the highly skilled manpower and infrastructure in the country. Our significant investment in India will continue to play a vital role in delivering growth across our business and the new structure will reflect the importance of the Indian operations to Xansa's worldwide delivery capability."
Mr. Saurabh Srivastava, Executive Director and Chairman, Xansa said, "The Indian operations form a key element of Xansa's worldwide service provision. India is increasingly critical in the current market place as we are seeing through our client led demand. This technology centre allows us to fulfil that demand. "

This facility has been constructed keeping in mind the modern ergonomic facilities for our employees, providing them the best work atmosphere."
The Noida development centre reflects "Present Day Delhi Urban Architecture" with features like streams, garden courts and extensive plantation. It will be abreast with all modern ergonomic amenities from quality air-conditioning and intelligent building management systems, to modern and exclusive computer centre and efficient building areas.
The company has earmarked a total investment of Rs 160 crores in setting up three-software development centres in India. In addition to the Noida facility, the company is setting up two software centres in Chennai and Pune, which will be developed as modern campuses and will include housing facilities for employees. The tradition of crèche continues in new office developments with enhanced facilities.
