Following last year's success, Vogue India's Talent Contest returns to put the spotlight on the budding fashion writers. If you believe you can write on fashion with a fresh voice, an incisive tone and an original perspective, then Vogue India wants to see your work!
The process of entering the contest is very simple:
1. Write your autobiography (350 words maximum)
2. Comment on one current fashion trend (250 words maximum)
3. Write an imaginary interview with a fashion designer that you admire, as though you are profiling him or her for Vogue India (500 words, maximum)
The judging panel will include eminent personalities like Vogue India Editor, Priya Tanna, senior members of the magazine's editorial team and guest judges.
* The best article will get published in Vogue India and a mention of the work on the Vogue India masthead
* The winner will get a six – week internship with Vogue India and a cash prize of Rs. 30,000.
Important Details of the contest:
* The closing date for the contest is September 15th, 2010
* The pre-requisite for entering the contest are that the entrants should be aged between 18 to 25 years, as of September 15th 2010
* All the entries will be accepted by email only
* The results will be announced in the December 2010 issue of Vogue India
* Email your entries no later than midnight of 15th of September, 2010 to voguetalent@condenast.in.
In 2009, Vogue India had over 500 impressive entries. Participants included students and writers from all over India and across the globe.
