To rejoice the 63rd year of independence, MGF Metropolitan Mall, Gurgaon, Galli Galli Sim Sim muppet Chamki and Kapil Dev came together and celebrated the spirit of Independence with the students of Shikshaantra, a school run by Khushii.
The event was centered around 100 kids from Shikshaantra with MGF celebrating the spirit of independence being the central theme. The children were welcomed with the Indian National flag and then they proceeded to have a fun filled evening with various activities like kite making and face painting.
Kapil Dev also joined in the celebrations and gave a motivational speech to the children. Adding to the evening was a mesmerizing performance by Chamki from the popular TV show Galli Galli Sim Sim that airs on channel POGO. She spoke to the children about the importance of Independence Day.
The evening ended with a delightful performance by the children, who enthralled the crowd with their enthusiasm. The guests and the children then proceeded to have a scrumptious meal at Baujee ka Dhaba.
