PVR Pictures rings in 2011 with 8 most awaited Hollywood Releases in the first quarter

Fans of good cinema can look forward to a rocking new year with PVR Pictures' new line up of Hollywood releases scheduled between January 7th and March 18, 2011. In the running for release in India shortly, are the following feature films - Fair Game, Another Year, Somewhere, Rabbit Hole, Biutiful (Spanish), The Way Back, London Boulevard and The Eagle. Fair Game is one of the most awaited thriller flicks starring Sean Penn and Naomi Watts in a story that unravels the real life story of government policies and agents working in the CIA. Exploring emotions amongst maintaining family relationships is another inspiring film in 'Another Year and Rabbit Hole'. Also, a must watch is the adaptation of The Eagle of the Ninth (1954) which is titled as The Eagle. In the foreign language category Biutiful has been nominated for the Golden Globe Best Foreign Film - a film that dwells on the loyalties of a friendship through trying times.

Earlier, this year at FICCI Frames 2010, the industry was projected to grow at a CAGR of 9 per cent and touch Rs 13,700 crore by 2014 from Rs 890 crore in 2009. It is no surprise that India has found its way on the Hollywood radar from a distribution and production perspective.
