India@100-Festival of Urbanity begins

Spire World in association with Dr. Alka Pande, today launched the week-long event "India@100-Festival of Urbanity" at Indian Habitat Center. The festival will showcase several events in the field of Art, Painting, puppet-shows, music, panel-discussion, forums etc. from April 7 to April 14. Most of the events are open competitions for the general public. Mr. Sanjay Prakash, the Green Ambassador and Mrs. Suparna Bhalla, eminent architect also graced the occasion.

The results of the 'SPIRETECH GREEN CONTEST' will also be announced granting contract to one lucky architectural firm out of 100's of entries from Top Architectural Firms of the World to construct a GREEN BUSINESS TOWER on the edge of the Yamuna that upholds Green Architecture in more ways than one. The seminar strongly suggests adopting a greener life-style announcing a GREEN CHARTER and also flagging off a GREEN MOBILE.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ashish Bhalla, Managing Director-Spire World said, "India@100 is a platform to build a participatory podium for lateral exchanges and interaction from which diverse reasoning will emerge. India@100 believes that only through collaborative will relevant solutions materialize."

Indian at 100 is open for general public from 7th April. Divided in three verticals where general public can participate.

• Exhibits-Exhibition by various NGO's on issues related to Urbanity.

• Express-A platform for people to express through Drawing competition, Logo competition and Quizzes.

• Entertain-Rock show by Five8 & Them Clones, Theatre, Art Shows, Puppet Show, Dance performance, Storytelling competitions.
