Amara Raja Batteries rolls out 20,000th Amaron TM battery for Maruti Swift

Battery major Amara Raja Batteries Limited,manufacturers of Industrial and the Amaron TM brand of automotivebatteries has rolled out the 20,000th Amaron TM battery under theirexclusive supplier agreement for the Maruti Swift.

While Amara Raja Batteries supplies its Amaron TM batteries to many of theMaruti models, it is an exclusive supplier for all three versions, the Lxi, the VXi and the Zxi, of the Maruti Swift.

In a symbolic ceremony held at the Amara Raja plant in Tirupathi, Jay Galla, Managing Director, Amara Raja Batteries Ltd., handed over the 20,000 th battery for Maruti Swift to Mr. Sudam Maitra, Chief General Manager,Maruti Udyog Limited. The entire Production and R&D team of Amara Raja werepresent on the occasion.
