The Westin Mumbai Garden City organizes a rally on 'World Environment Day'

Westin Mumbai Garden City, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.'s (NYSE: HOT), will celebrate the World Environment Day – June 5th with a rally and spread the message of environmental sustainability.

The rally will commence from the hotel with the objective to spread the green message and en-route the team will cover the local area with banners propagating environment friendly messages. The entire Westin Mumbai Garden City team will be present to support the rally including the department heads and General Manager Mr. Lance Ourednik. The residents of the hotel will also be invited to join in the rally and show support towards the World Environment Day.

Post the rally, General Manager Mr. Lance Ourednik, Hotel Manager Mr. Sushil Sharma and rest of the department heads will visit Bal Vikas the shelter home for children. The Westin team will join forces to beautify the Bal Vikas garden area thereby making it a green and clean play area for the children residing there. The Westin team will not only clean up the gardens but will also plant trees in and around Bal Vikas. Further the team will take up the responsibility to maintain the gardens at Bal Vikas.
