Daljit Singh joins Bharti as Corporate Director HR

Mr. Daljit Singh has joined Bharti Tele-Ventures Ltd. as Corporate Director – Human Resources. He will also be a member of the Management Council.

This senior management appointment is aimed at further enhancing the People Excellence practices & talent management program at Bharti. ‘People’ are at the core of Bharti’s vision to be a globally admired institution recognized for telecom services and Daljit’s expertise & experience in HR will be a great asset to Bharti.

With a career spanning over 31 years, Daljit has worked with several multi-national corporations in various senior management positions. Prior to joining Bharti, Daljit worked with American Express as Vice President-HR for Japan, Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand based out of Singapore. During his tenure at American Express, Daljit was involved in core strategic interventions like setting up of outsourcing business in India, restructuring the HR function in the region and leading a significant and complex cultural & organizational change programme.

Prior to American Express, Daljit was Vice President - HR & Administration for the HCL group. He was also the Advisor to the Group Chairman in HCL. Daljit has worked with companies like Nestle, Pfizer, Voltas and Indian Oil Corporation.
