Toshiba India Private Ltd., today introduced the new HV10 series as one member of Power TV brand, LCD TVs at Toshiba Press Conference. This series aims to attract CRT TV users to switch to LCD TV with three hit features as below.

• Better Picture Quality

Upgraded from conventional CRT TV, which usually only has picture resolution of 480i (640x480), HV10 series as LCD TV has up to Full HD (1920x1080)*, providing a whole new viewing experience. HV10 also provides HDMI® interface, enabling images upscale to the screen’s native resolution, that users can simply enjoy a variety of content in high quality picture.

• Lower power Consumption

Compare with the conventional models, HV10 series has achieved lower power consumption. 19HV10 with LED backlight has up to 30% power consumption down**; 24HV10 can reduce up to 26%***, while 32HV10 has 8% lower****. It not only saves consumers energy bills but also is the right choice for those who endeavour to make their living spaces more eco-friendly.

• Design with Slim, Light and Compact

LCD TV is distinguishable from the CRT TV for the width depth and weight. Around 60% thinner than the conventional CRT TV, HV10 creates the special perception of spaciousness. Furthermore, the appearance of HV10 series is specially designed with the lasting charm of CRT TV, yet integrating the stylish design of modern LCD TV at the same time.

Models and availability

The TVs of the HV10 series are available with three different screen sizes: The 19HV10 comes with a 47cm (19'') display; the 24HV10 offers a screen with 59.8cm (24”) and the 32HV10 with size of 80cm (32”) panel size. All TVs work with frame rates of 50 Hz and will be available from August throughout India.
