The Force India Formula One Team hosted the Force India Speed Nights at the UB City Amphitheatre yesterday. Hosted at various centers across the country by India's only Formula 1 Team, The Force India Speed Nights are a series of special live screenings of Formula 1 races hosted by the India's only Formula 1 team.
The Sunday evening began on a speedy note with the screening of the Italian Grand Prix at the amphitheatre. The revelry continued as the Force India Speed Nights presented 'Money for Nothing', a London-based rock band named after the legendary song by 'Dire Straits', gave a tribute feat to the Grammy Award winning band after the screening of the Grand Prix. They enthralled the mass as they played famous pop and rock numbers of the celebrated band including 'Sultan of Swing', 'Calling Elvis' and 'Heavy Fuel'.
The motorsports enthusiasts present at the venue reveled in the excitement as Force India driver Paul di Resta finished among points in the eighth position.
It seemed like all the Formula One fans of Bengaluru had gathered together to cheer for their favorite racers. Designer Manoviraj Khosla, who designed the new outfits of Force India Speed Divas, came down with his friends and was seen rooting for the Force India Formula One Team.
Heralding the arrival of Formula One, one of the most glamorous sports in the world into India, the Force India Octane Nights and Speed Nights will continue to be held at various locations across the country on Formula 1 race weekends, giving fans a chance to party and cheer for their favourite team in a Formula 1 inspired ambience.
