Oxford Bookstore announces Splash Sale

Starting today, Oxford Bookstores, situated in Kolkata, New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai begins a two-week celebration with the Oxford Bookstore Splash Sale. The sale is on for a fortnight till September 4 and offers up to 75% discounts on books. During the sale the store will remain open from 10.00 am – 10.00 pm all days.

Speaking about the sale, Mr. Rajiv Chowdhry, CEO, Apeejay Oxford Bookstores Pvt. Ltd. said, “Through the Oxford Bookstore Splash Sale we want to reach out not only to existing but new customers as well. The Oxford Bookstore Splash Sale also provides a good opportunity for young people to buy books from different categories and enhance their knowledge base. The sale is also our way of saying thank you to our existing and loyal patrons who have been visiting our store often.”

Books from popular categories including Fiction, New Age, Children, Cookery, Business Management, Design, Art & Architecture, India etc. will be on sale. The store will receive fresh stocks of books every day to enhance the choices available to customers.Discounts start at 10% and will be available in 20%, 40%, 50% and 75% slots. “Footfalls tend to increase by 60 -70% during weekdays and much higher on the weekends”, says Mr. Swagat Sengupta, Senior Manager, Merchandising and Business Development, Oxford Bookstore, Kolkata. He adds, “We’ve observed that during the sale just about anyone and everyone walks in. We always get a tremendous response and hope to see an even better one this time as all our marketing activities are in full gear.”
