NEC Showcases Safer Cities concept at IFSEC 2011

NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701), a leading network, communications and IT company, will display its range of public safety and security solutions focusing on the concept of “safer cities” at IFSEC between 8th December till 10th December 2011 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi (booth A110, Hall 18). Themed “We Make Cities Safer”, the NEC exhibits will showcase how governments and businesses can use technologies to safeguard lives and property.

According to the Frost & Sullivan- Aerospace, Defence & Security Practice Report 2011, India is expected to be a great market for safe city solutions with 7 announced projects to be completed in the next 10 years. Fostered by the national government, a major Safe City project is expected to be implemented in 6 major states across the country from 2011-2012*.
