Pearl Academy of Fashion, Jaipur organized ‘Prove a Point’, an inter- college competition series for post- graduate students on 24th February 2012 at its Kukas Campus. Around 200 students participated in the event, which witnessed students delivering design presentations, debating on industry topics and participating in quiz competitions.
A total of 10 colleges from across Rajasthan participated in the event. The entries were judged by specially selected panels. The enthusiasm and conviction of the participants made a huge impact on the judges, who highly appreciated the efforts of all the students.
Mr Arindam Das, Director, Pearl Academy of Fashion, Jaipur said “Prove a Point tests the passion in students to prove their ideas to the industry. The event was a great success as all participating students were passionate and put in true efforts to get their point across, be it through designing a garment or debating on a current industry topic. The Academy encourages students’ to participate in extracurricular activities by organizing various such events and supports them in preparing for the competitive industry through these endeavours.”
