“It is my great pleasure to announce the opening of the Japanese Visa Application Center (JVAC) by VFS Global. It is my sincere hope that, with the opening of the JVAC, the visit to Japan will become more convenient for all travelers from India to Japan.
In the year 2012, Japan and India celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of their bilateral relationship. It is quite timely to announce the opening of the visa center on this commemorative year, since the visa center will facilitate more Indian tourists, business travelers and others to visit Japan.
Japan is proud of its long history with rich culture, beautiful scenic cities, and delicious food and beverages are enjoyed by tourists from all over the world but above all, the warm hospitality of the Japanese people will be the most memorable experience during your visit to Japan. Today, 15 million people in India travel overseas, and it is expected that the number will grow up to 50 million by the year 2020. Japan truly hopes more Indian people visit the country. The Japanese government has designated India as one of the focal countries in its ‘Visit Japan Campaign’.
With the opening of JVAC by VFS Global, I sincerely hope that your trip to Japan will be more convenient and accessible. I hope that more people from India visit Japan, thereby, facilitating mutual exchanges and understanding between the two countries.”
