Procam International bags top honours at the WOW Awards 2012

Procam International, one of India's leading sports management companies bagged two golds for its events, the prestigious Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2011 as 'CSR Event/Property of the Year', and the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2011 as 'Sports Property of the Year' at the 4th WOW Event and Experiential Marketing Awards 2012.

Procam International's vision over the years has laid a foundation of excellence by promoting innovative and sustainable sporting and leisure properties in the country. Two of its most popular events, the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon and the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon have brought about a running revolution and placed India on the global marathon calendar.

The Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon (SCMM) that started in 2004 has grown to become Asia's largest and richest marathons and is now among the world's top 10. The success of this event also rests on the huge charity drive that provides a platform for NGOs, corporates and individuals to come together and raise money for causes of their choice. In 2012, SCMM recorded the highest collections ever, which were in excess of Rs. 16 crore.

The Airtel Delhi Half Marathon is a gold label event and offers elite International and Indian athletes a perfect platform to excel. Only in its third year now, the marathon has attracted over 30,000 participants and is becoming increasingly popular with each passing year.
