Company Brief
Mumbai, May 11, 2012
Komli Media, Asia Pacific's leading media technology platform, today announced the appointment of two executives to its leadership team: Anjali Shrivastava as the VP & Global Head of Human Resources (HR) and Rajesh Ghonasgi as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Shrivastava will be responsible for planning and driving Komli Media’s people- and culture-related initiatives globally, including recruiting, talent development and training. Ghonasgi will oversee all of Komli Media’s financial operations including corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions. He will also lead and expand the Company’s engagement with the investor community.
“Given the strong pace of growth and expansion our business is experiencing, we wanted to significantly strengthen two key disciplines: HR and Finance,” said Prashant Mehta, Chief Executive Officer of Komli Media. “Both Anjali and Rajesh have proven track records of successfully driving growth by exceeding business objectives at leading companies. Their leadership will help Komli gain further scale to capitalize on the large and growing market opportunity in digital advertising.”
Ghonasgi joins Komli with over two decades of strong financial leadership experience with leading technology companies. Most recently, as CFO of Persistent Systems, he led the company through a successful IPO. Before that, he served as CFO of Hexaware Technologies. In 2011 and 2012, he was conferred “CFO100 Roll of Honor” by CFO India magazine; which recognizes financial leaders across leading corporations in India. Prior to that, Ghonasgi held various leadership roles at Wipro. “Komli Media is at the forefront of bringing leading solutions to the digital marketplace,” said Rajesh Ghonasgi, Chief Financial Officer of Komli Media. “I am delighted to work with the talented team here and look forward to developing strategies that will support our rapidly growing business operations.”
Shrivastava has over eighteen years experience in HR and talent strategy, business planning, training and development. Shrivastava was the former country talent head at Ogilvy & Mather, where she successfully aligned talent and HR strategy with the core business objectives. Later, as a consultant for leading global companies, she championed and implemented best-in-class HR initiatives including performance management systems, talent development and succession planning across Asia Pacific. Earlier, Shrivastava helped build great teams at two global brands - Dominos and McDonalds. "I am excited to work at Komli. The team is very passionate about its mission and is working to revolutionize digital advertising. This ‘can-do’ culture permeates from the top and is echoed throughout the organization,” said Shrivastava.
Both, Ghonasgi and Shrivastava join the Komli Media team at an exciting time when the Company continues to build its industry-leading position. Komli Media has grown over 100% CAGR since its inception in 2006, and earlier this year the company announced the launch of ATOM, its proprietary Real-Time Bidding performance ad platform, Komli Labs and Komli Play, its video platform. These revolutionary products and services will provide marketers and publishers with cutting-edge technologies that will enable them to achieve their digital advertising goals.
Komli Media continues to focus on hiring and retaining team members who contribute to the Company’s innovative and collaborative culture, and who are passionate about addressing key challenges in digital advertising. With these two crucial hires, Komli Media has strengthened its leadership team in order to further scale its business.
