The stars will be out in the month of April as Café Coffee Day celebrates its recent success at the India Barista Championship and looks forward to the World Championship in May in the U.S.

Wednesdays at Café Coffee Day will be dedicated to the stars, the Café's brewmasters who did a clean sweep at the India Barista Championship this February, winning the Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies.

Walk into select Café Coffee Day outlets on a Wednesday between 6 and 9 pm and you will be greeted with a festive look. Brewmasters in their regalia will be creating special exclusive coffees as well as some of the Signature Blends that won them the top honours at the Championship.

On Wednesdays, 5 award-winning Brewmasters at select Café Coffee Days across the country will create six signature brews before the customers' eyes. The Brewmasters will also interact with customers, give them tips on Coffee and Coffee making, tell them about coffee history, coffee trivia and coffee trends across the world. As a special offer for April, the signature coffees will be priced between Rs. 40 and Rs. 60.

"We'd like to make these evenings a magical coffee experience, and would urge them to try out the special coffee blends that wowed the coffee experts at the Championship" Says Ms. Sudipta Mukherjee, Head - Marketing, Café Coffee Day.

Café Coffee Day will treat its customers to two sets of 6 special coffees (total of 12 special Coffees) on Wednesdays. While six of these special coffees would be available at all Café Coffee Day outlets all through April, the 6 signature brews would be prepared by champion Brewmasters at select outlets on Wednesdays.

With award winning Brewmasters and signature coffees hogging the limelight, Wednesdays promise to be truly special at Café Coffee Day. So come out and meet the star Brewmasters with their brew.

It may be recalled here, that Mr. Vikram Khurana, a Brewmaster at Café Coffee Day, had won Silver Medal in the World Barista Championship last year and has also been chosen to represent India in the World Barista Championship 2003, by virtue of winning the India Barista Championship, this year. The event will be held in Boston, USA in April.
