Reliance WebWorld bags Frost & Sullivan award

Chennai, October 13, 2005: Reliance WebWorld on Monday won this year’s Frost & Sullivan Market Leadership Award for Video Conferencing services. The award has been given in recognition of Reliance WebWorld’s emergence within one year as the single largest player in Indian videoconferencing industry with a whopping 44% market share.

Frost & Sullivan Awards are presented to companies for excellence, diligence, commitment and using innovative business strategies to make their mark in the global market. Criteria used to determine winners are rigorous.

“Video conferencing was always thought to be the elite’s preserve. Reliance Infocomm was the first to make it available to masses through its 241 WebWorlds in 105 Indian cities.
